Val Speedie – Savannah Guide

It is with great sadness that we farewell a great friend of Undara with the recent passing of Val Speedie. Val joined the team at Undara back in the very early days and was instrumental in shaping the interpretive style used today at Undara Experience. Val was truly committed to continually learning & improving the knowledge of all the guides who have worked not only at Undara but in the Tropical Savannah’s through her contribution at many Savannah Guides schools. With her great friend and fellow Savannah Guide Kay Stephens, Val went on to make an incredible contribution to the region through her involvement in the Northern Gulf Resource Management Group creating & publishing the Gulf Croaker newsletter. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to her husband Tony and family. RIP Val.
