Undara Experience’s most recent award was received in 2009 in the highly competitive Tropical North Queensland Tourism Awards. Opera in the Outback won the award for Festivals and Events.

Undara Experience was also named a finalist at both the Queensland and Tropical North Queensland Awards in the category Significant Tourist Attraction. These awards are a credit to the entire Undara team and it’s supporters – Thank you! 

Savannah Guides Limited were also winners at the Tropical North Queensland Tourism Awards in the category, “Tourism Education and Training”. This is their third year in a row for this award - Well Done Savannah Guides!!

On Australia Day (January 25th, 2008) Gerry Collins, founder of Undara Experience, received a Member of the Order of Australia Medal for his tireless work for the development of the Agricultural and Tourism Industries stretching over 50 years.
